The Daytime Divas are getting real. Deadline reports co-hosts from real daytime talk shows The View and The Real will guest star on the upcoming VH1 TV series.
Inspired by Star Jones’ book Satan’s Sisters, the scripted show will chronicle the daily fireworks that erupt between the five female co-hosts of a daytime talk show. The cast includes Kristen Johnston, Norm Lewis, Patti LaBelle, La La Anthony, Vanessa Williams, Rob Estes, and Kelly Osbourne.
In addition to Jones herself, The View‘s Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Jedediah Bila and Sara Haines and The Real‘s Tamera Mowry-Housley will guest star on the show. VH1 has not yet announced a premiere date for Daytime Divas, but it is expected to debut later this year.
