Daytime Divas has some new company. Recently, VH1 announced Kristen Johnson and Norm Lewis have joined the upcoming TV series.
Based on the book Satan’s Sisters by Star Jones, the series explores the behind-the-scenes drama between the five female hosts of a daytime TV talk show. The cast also includes Vanessa Williams, Patti LaBelle, Eve, Kelly Osbourne, Tasha Smith, La La Anthony, and Rob Estes.
From VH1:
Kristen Johnston will play Anna, the former frumpy and frazzled assistant to Vanessa Williams’ character Maxine. Her character returns to New York transformed into a chic and hard-hitting journalist.
Norm Lewis will play William, a handsome doorman who may hold one of the ladies’ darkest secrets.”
Daytime Divas is slated to debut in 2017.
