Is Susan Sarandon getting in the television business? According to Page Six, the actress is pitching a TV series based on her 1995 film Dead Man Walking.
In the film, Sarandon played Sister Helen Prejean, a real-life nun who ministers to death-row inmates. Sarandon won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance.
Reportedly, the actress is meeting with various networks to pitch the film as a series about “exonerating wrongfully accused inmates.”
No other details have been revealed.
