Dear White People has two new castmembers. Deadline reports Brandon P. Bell and Logan Browning will star in Netflix’s upcoming series.
The comedy is based on Justin Simien’s 2014 film, which centered on the racial tension between the white and black students of an Ivy League college.
Bell will reprise his role in the film as Troy Fairbanks, the ambitious son of the dean of students. Brown will play “Samantha White, a biracial film major at an Ivy League school whose radio show ‘Dear White People’ lands her a spot in a campus political movement.”
Dear White People is set to premiere in 2017.
