Dear White People has a new player. Deadline reports Brant Daugherty has been cast in the upcoming Netflix series.
The actor has previously appeared in Pretty Little Liars, Days of Our Lives, and Army Wives.
Based on the film by Justin Simien, Dear White People follows the racial tensions at a predominantly white Ivy League university. Daugherty will be playing Thane Lockwood, the dim-witted star of the college football team.
He joins fellow castmates Logan Browning, Logan P. Bell, Antoinette Robertson, DeRon Horton, John Patrick Amedori, and Ashley Blaine Featherson.
