Decker: Unsealed: New Title & Guests Announced for Season Two

Decker: Mindwipe TV show on Adult Swim: season 3 renewal and release date (canceled or renewed?)

Decker: Unsealed TV show on Adult Swim: season 2 release date (canceled or renewed?)

Adult Swim has announced the second season of the Decker TV show — Decker: Unsealed — will premiere on “Sunday, June 4th, at Midnight E/P on Adult Swim.” I’m quoting verbatim from the press release. Now, while it seems they mean one minute past 11:59pm on Sunday, check your local listings to be sure, because every (administrative) thing this show does drives me out of my order-thirsty mind.

Decker ran for three seasons as an online series. Last year, it premiered on TV, in Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim block as season one of Decker: Unclassified. Tim Heidecker and Gregg Turkington created and star in the series as Jack Decker Jr. and Jonathan Kington. Joe Estevez also stars as President Jason Davidson. Guest stars in Decker, season two, include: Joey Travolta, Alfonso Freeman, Jimmy McNichol, Kellee Maize, Steve Railsback, and Denny Laine.

Here’s the Adult Swim press release:

Decker: Unsealed Premieres Sunday, June 4th on Adult Swim

Fearless Special Agent Jack Decker is back for another wild ride in Decker: Unsealed

New Season Premieres Sunday, June 4th at Midnight E/P on Adult Swim

This time around, President Davidson Jr. (Joe Estevez) recounts more of Jack Decker’s patriotic adventures to his son and protégé: Jack Decker Jr (Tim Heidecker). All the while, a powerful enemy plots against Decker Jr. to avenge the murder of his father. The show also prominently features master CIA codebreaker Jonathan Kington (Gregg Turkington). Guest stars include Joey Travolta, Alfonso Freeman, Jimmy McNichol, Kellee Maize, Steve Railsback, and Denny Laine.

The series was created by and stars Heidecker and Turkington, and is produced by Abso Lutely Productions.

Although a third season renewal has not been announced, back in January, Jim Heidecker posted on Tumblr that they were working on the next two seasons of Decker, so fans shouldn’t have to worry about it being cancelled too soon, unless Ted Turner gives me Cartoon Network, and I cancel it in a fit of pique caused by the numbering, title, and premiere time inconsistencies. (Just kidding. Probably.)

What do you think? Are you a fan of the Decker TV series? Do you plan to check out season two on Adult Swim? Sound off, in the comments.
