Joe Dempsie is going international. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Game of Thrones star has joined the upcoming TV series Deep State.
From Fox Networks Group Europe and Africa, the spy drama has an international setting and will take place in Britain, the U.S., Iran, Lebanon, and France. The cast also includes Mark Strong and Lyne Renee.
Dempsie will play a secret agent in Deep State. Little else is known about the upcoming series, but eight episodes have been ordered. An American network has not yet been announced.
