Designated Survivor has some new company. Deadline reports The Brink‘s Geoff Pierson has joined season one of the ABC TV show.
The political thriller stars Kiefer Sutherland as Tom Kirkman, a low-level cabinet member who becomes President of the United States after an attack on Washington DC. The cast also includes Natascha McElhone, Adan Canto, Italia Ricci, LaMonica Garrett, Tanner Buchanan, Kal Penn, and Maggie Q.
In the second half of season one, Pierson will play “Cornelius Moss, the former President of the United States who Kirkman hopes to appoint as Secretary of State.” Season one of Designated Survivor returns to ABC on March 8th at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
