FOX is getting political. According to Deadline, the network has just picked up Designated Survivor, a drama about a potential government disaster.
The series comes from writer-producer Nikki Toscano, who has previously produced for Bates Motel and State of Affairs.
The series will follow the “designated survivor,” a U.S. Cabinet member who is tasked with taking the role of the President “should the unthinkable happen and the rest of the government is wiped out in an attack.”
Johnny Depp’s production company, Infinitum Nihil, is producing.
What do you think? Does Designated Survivor sound like something you’d watch?
