HBO is headed to the Big Apple. This week, the network released a new sneak peek at their upcoming TV series The Deuce.
From David Simon and George Pelecanos, the drama “follows the story of the legalization and subsequent rise of the porn industry in New York’s Times Square from the early 1970s through the mid-1980s, exploring the rough-and-tumble world at the pioneering moments of what would become the billion-dollar American sex industry.” The cast includes James Franco, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Emily Meade, Anwan Glover, Gary Carr, and Lawrence Gilliard Jr.
The Deuce is slated to premiere on HBO on September 10th.
