The Devious Maids are retiring. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lifetime has cancelled the series after four seasons.
The dramedy revolved around a group of Latina maids who work in the homes of wealthy and powerful families in Beverly Hills. The cast included Ana Ortiz, Dania Ramirez, Roselyn Sánchez, Judy Reyes, Rebecca Wisocky, Grant Show, and Susan Lucci.
While ratings for Devious Maids had never been high, season four were the lowest yet, earning an average of .30 in the 18-49 demo and only 923,000 viewers. For comparison, season three received an average of .46 in the 18-49 demo and 1.36 million viewers.
