Difficult People has some new company. TVLine reports Lucy Liu has joined season three of the Hulu TV series.
The comedy stars Julie Klausner and Billy Eichner as comedian best friends who are trying to make it in New York City. They hate everyone — except each other. The cast also includes James Urbaniak, Gabourey Sidibe, and Andrea Martin.
In season three, Liu will play Veronica, a “morally corrupt, taste-challenged, highly successful alpha female.” The new season of Difficult People premieres on Hulu on August 8th.
