Series Description: Lucy Spiller (Courteney Cox Arquette) is the ruthless and powerful editor-in-chief of celebrity tabloid magazine DirtNow. A genius at manipulation, Lucy possesses a maniacal dedication to exposing the truth about Hollywood’s luminaries. She is supported by schizophrenic photographer Don Konkey (Ian Hart) and her bisexual brother Leo Spiller (Will McCormack). Lucy is often at odds with DirtNow’s publisher Brent Barrow (Jeffrey Nordling). Celebrities covered include has-been Holt McLaren (Josh Stewart) and “America’s Sweetheart” Julia Mallory (Laura Allen).
Episode 20 – In Lieu of Flowers
Life-and-death circumstances compel Lucy (Courteney Cox Arquette) to examine her relationships. Publisher Brett (Jeffrey Nordling) is found dead after passing out in his new car with the motor running. Later, Leo (Will McCormack) tells Lucy that their selfish mother (Mary Anne McGarry) has died after one too many plastic surgery operations. The siblings decide to go after the doctor who is, at least partially, responsible for her death.
