Is the Eleventh Doctor making a comeback? Blastr reports Matt Smith could be returning to Doctor Who.
Smith made his debut as The Doctor in 2010 and left the BBC sci-fi series after season seven in 2013.
Since leaving, Smith has reportedly said he’s open to returning as The Doctor and regrets leaving the show. Meanwhile, current Doctor Peter Capaldi is rumored to be leaving the show after the next season alongside showrunner Steven Moffat.
Moffat apparently said Smith has been “quite open about how much he misses it, and how much he wishes he hadn’t left.”
