Does Doctor Who have another executive producer for season 11? Blastr reports Misfits producer Matt Strevens may join the BBC sci-fi series alongside new showrunner Chris Chibnall.
The upcoming 10th season of Doctor Who will be showrunner Steven Moffat’s last. Chibnall was announced as his successor earlier this year.
Apparently, Doctor Who‘s official Twitter posted the news that Strevens will exec produce season 11 with Chibnall. However, the post has since been removed:
Though the news hasn’t been confirmed, Strevens has worked with Doctor Who before. He produced the spin-off drama An Adventure in Space and Time and has worked with former Doctor Who showrunner Russell T. Davies.
Season 11 of Doctor Who is expected in 2018.
