Timothy Dalton is coming to DC Universe. Variety reports the Penny Dreadful star has joined the streaming service’s new TV show, Doom Patrol.
From Greg Berlanti, the live-action drama “is a re-imagining of one of DC’s most beloved group of outcast Super Heroes: Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Girl and Crazy Jane, led by modern-day mad scientist Dr. Niles Caulder (The Chief).”
On Doom Patrol, Dalton will be playing Dr. Niles “The Chief” Caulder, “a pioneer in medical science, searching the world over for those on the edge of death in need of a miracle.”
DC Universe has not yet announced a premiere date for Doom Patrol, but the new streaming service launches on September 15th.
