As part of its annual “Text Santa” fundraiser, UK channel ITV cooked up a new Downton Abbey sketch, in which Isobel (Penelope Wilton), Robert (Hugh Bonneville), and Edith (Laura Carmichael) search for the perfect person to play Santa Claus at the Abbey. Watch below.
While last year’s “Text Santa” promo featured George Clooney, one of this year’s guests is celebrity chef, Gordon Ramsay, who it seems learned his foul-mouthed ways, at the feet of Mrs. Patmore! It’s always the quiet ones.
Mr. Carson (Jim Carter) desperately wants to fill the role, but is ignored while the trio of judges auditions not only Ramsay, but also the likes of Sir Bruce Forsyth, Gok Wan, Brenda Blethyn, Jim Broadbent, Michelle Keegan, and Warwick Davis.
