Community is back. Sort of. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jonathan Banks will reunite with his former castmate Ken Jeong on an upcoming episode of the ABC sitcom Dr. Ken.
Banks played Professor Buzz Hickey alongside Jeong on season five of Community. NBC cancelled the comedy after five seasons and it ended after a sixth and final season on Yahoo. Fellow castmembers Joel McHale, Danny Pudi, Jim Rash, Gillian Jacobs and Yvette Nicole Brown have all appeared on Dr. Ken.
In the upcoming episode, Banks will play “Dr. Erwin, Ken’s toughest professor from his days as a resident.” The episode, titled “Ken’s Old Professor,” airs on March 10th on ABC.
