A couple weeks ago, we reported that ABC has picked up a new soccer comedy pilot called Dream Team. Now, Deadline is reporting that Marc Buckland will be helming the pilot.
Earlier today, we reported that another ABC comedy pilot, Chunk & Bean, has also found a director.
Buckland will direct the pilot for Dream Team, which follows a veteran club soccer coach who takes on a group of diverse eight year olds and their parents. The series comes from writers Kari Lizer and Bill Wrubel. Buckland previously worked on the cancelled NBC comedy My Name is Earl.
