It’s the case of the new cast members. Deadline reports that both Anthony Edwards and Felix Solis have cast in CBS’ Nancy Drew drama pilot, Drew.
Written by Joan Rater and Tony Phelan, Drew will follow the classic mystery book character as an adult, who is now working as a detective for the NYPD.
Edwards has been cast as Nancy’s father, Carson, a graduate of Yale Law. Meanwhile, Solis will play Lieutenant Ford, a workaholic whose wife disappeared years earlier under suspicious circumstances. The pilot is being directed by James Strong.
