Alan Dale is headed to The CW. Variety reports the Lost star has joined the network’s Dynasty reboot pilot.
Based on Aaron Spelling’s 1980s soap, the revival “follows two of America’s wealthiest families, the Carringtons and the Colbys, as they feud for control over their fortune and their children.” The cast also includes Elizabeth Gillies, Nathalie Kelley, Robert Christopher Riley, Grant Show, and Sam Adegoke.
Dale will play Anders, the butler, on Dynasty. The The CW reboot comes from Gossip Girl creators Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage. Schwartz also created The O.C., which starred Dale as Caleb Nichol.
