Amazon is getting in the reality show game. Deadline reports the streaming service has ordered a reboot of Mark Burnett’s Eco-Challenge TV series.
Hosted by Bear Grylls, the new reality competition series will “pit teams of four competitors selected from around the world against each other and nature’s harsh elements in a grueling 24-hours a day, multi-day race.” The original Eco-Challenge aired on Discovery from 1995 to 2002.
Prime Video has ordered 10 episodes of Eco-Challenge, with the location to be announced later this year.
