TV show description:
A fantasy drama, this TV series is based on the Land of Oz book series written by L. Frank Baum. It’s the tale of a young woman finding her true strength and identity as she battles to bring a divided world together.

While searching for her mother, 20-year-old Dorothy Gale (Adria Arjona) is swept up into the eye of a tornado and transported to a mystical world. It’s where an all-powerful ruler called the Wizard (Vincent D’Onofrio) governs over one kingdom, has outlawed magic and faces a looming disaster brought on by a mythical force — as well as the wrath of a growing cauldron of witches.

While on her path to find her way home, Dorothy comes upon a wounded soldier named Lucas (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) and a young man, Jack (Gerran Howell), who’s attempting to free his best friend Tip (Jordan Loughran) from a mysterious woman (Fiona Shaw).

Meanwhile, in Emerald City, Glinda (Joely Richardson) and West (Ana Ularu) come together to say farewell to their fallen sister, The Wicked Witch of the East (Florence Kasumba).

Elsewhere, the Wizard sends Eammon (Mido Hamada) on a mission to discover what fell from the sky and disturbed the Land of Oz.
