During the TCA winter press tour, Showtime‘s Gary Levine indicated the Episodes TV series may be cancelled after its fifth season. His comments were in response to a question based on social media comments from star, Matt LeBlanc.
From TV Line:
Responding to a recent tweet by series star Matt LeBlanc, Showtime programming chief Gary Levine said Tuesday at the Television Critics Association winter press tour, “That’s a real possibility [that Season 5 will be the last].”
“On this series, we are in the very talented hands of Jeffrey Klarik and David Crane, and they are hard at work on the fifth season,” Levin [sic] added. “We will wait to see if white smoke or black smoke comes out of the chimney at the end of that.”
Explaining the comedy’s delayed Season 5 arrival, Levin [sic] hailed it as “one of the most well-crafted comedies on television. Because it’s so painstakingly crafted … it takes a rather long time between seasons, and we are waiting patiently for that.”
What do you think? Are you a fan of the Episodes TV show? Do you think it should end after five seasons? If Episodes were to be renewed, would you watch a sixth season?
