Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is coming to the small screen. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the feature film is being adapted into a TV series.
From writer Charlie Kaufman and director Michel Gondry, the 2004 film follows Joel (Jim Carrey) and Clementine (Kate Winslet), two lovers who try to erase each other from their memories. The cast also includes Tom Wilkinson, Kirsten Dunst, Mark Ruffalo, and Elijah Wood.
Anonymous Content, a producer on the original film, is developing the project alongside Universal Cable Productions. No network is attached yet.
