The Exorcist has some new company. Deadline reports Deadpool star Brianna Hildebrand has joined season two of the FOX TV show.
Based on the 1973 film, the horror drama follows two very different priests—the progressive, ambitious, and compassionate Father Tomas Ortega (Alfonso Herrera) and Marcus Keane (Ben Daniels), a relentless and abrasive priest utterly consumed by his mission.
The new season will follow a new storyline featuring John Cho as Andrew Kim, a “former child psychologist who runs a group home for five at-risk foster children on a secluded private island off the coast of Seattle.” Hildebrand will play Verity, one of Kim’s foster children who is extremely devoted to her foster family.
Season two of The Exorcist is set to debut on FOX on September 29th at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
