Elizabeth Mitchell is headed to outer space. Recently, Syfy announced the Lost star will recur in season three of The Expanse.
Based on the book series by James S. A. Corey, the sci-fi drama is set centuries in the future and follows police detective Miller (Thomas Jane) and his crew as they unravel a conspiracy that threatens peace and the survival of humanity. The cast also includes Steven Strait, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Dominique Tipper, Cas Anvar, Wes Chatham, Frankie Adams, Chad L. Coleman, and Shawn Doyle.
The exact details of Mitchell’s role on The Expanse have not been revealed, but Syfy did say she “will play a character that brings a new, spiritual perspective to the series.” Season three is slated to debut in 2018.
