Ryan Murphy now has an anthology series triple threat. Deadline reports FX has ordered another series from Murphy titled Feud.
Each season of the drama will chronicle a famous feud. Murphy and Brad Pitt will serve as executive producers.
Season one, which has already been given an eight-episode order, will star Susan Sarandon and Jessica Lange as two of Hollywood’s most legendary actresses—Bette Davis and Joan Crawford. The two famously butted heads during the filming of their 1962 movie What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?.
Alongside Sarandon and Lange, Alfred Molina will play director Robert Aldrich, with Stanley Tucci as studio head Jack Warner and Judy Davis as gossip columnist Hedda Hopper. Dominic Burgess has also been cast as actor Victor Buono.
The series is expected to premiere in 2017.
