Ryan Murphy has cast two more actors in Feud, his upcoming FX anthology series. The first season covers the infamous feud between big screen greats Bette Davis (Susan Sarandon) and Joan Crawford (Jessica Lange). According to TV Line, Kathy Bates has landed the role of Davis’s best friend, Joan Blondell.
Deadline reports Alison Wright, a veteran of The Americans, will play Pauline. The character is described as, “director Robert Aldrich’s (Alfred Molina) smart-as-a-whip, cool-as-a-cucumber assistant in charge of development.”
