Feud: Season One Ratings

Feud TV show on FX: ratings (cancel or season 2?)Will today’s audience tune in for the first season of the Feud TV show which is devoted to Old Hollywood? Having achieved success with his American Horror Story and American Crime Story TV shows, FX seems ready to give this new Ryan Murphy anthology drama time to establish itself. Fans don’t have to worry about it being cancelled too soon. The cable channel renewed Feud for a second season ahead of the series premiere. Will it be a hit in the ratings? Stay tuned.

Feud: Bette & Joan centers on the bad blood between actresses Bette Davis (Susan Sarandon) and Joan Crawford (Jessica Lange). The FX cast also includes Alfred Molina, Stanley Tucci, Judy Davis, Jackie Hoffman, Alison Wright, Dominic Burgess, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, and Kiernan Shipka. Despite Davis and Crawford’s mutual distaste for one another, they collaborated on the campy 1962 psychological thriller feature film adaptation of Henry Farrell’s novel, Whatever Happened to Baby Jane. The project only exacerbated their legendary hostilities, which continued for the rest of their lives.
