We are island bound. Logo has ordered the first season of the Fire Island TV show from Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos’ Milojo Productions. The new docu-series follows NYC professionals who leave the big city behind for Fire Island Pines, in the Town of Brookhaven, NY. Logo says Fire Island will follow, “the adventures and relationships of friends and lovers as they experience the magic and excitement of the landmark location.”

The Fire Island TV series — slated for a 2017 premiere — is executive produced by Ripa and Consuelos’ Milojo Productions, with Albert Bianchini and Lenid Rolov. LOGO GREENLIGHTS NEW ORIGINAL DOCUSERIES “FIRE ISLAND” FROM KELLY RIPA AND MARK CONSUELOS

 

NEW YORK, NY – July 20, 2016 – [Logo] has greenlit docuseries “Fire Island” to premiere in 2017. [It joins] the recently announced new reality dating competition series, “Finding Prince Charming,” hosted by Lance Bass which will debut on the network this fall.

From Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos’ Milojo Productions, “Fire Island” is a docuseries following a group of young, New York City professionals who leave behind the stress of their big city lives and escape to the magical sun-soaked oasis that is Fire Island Pines. The series, like a love letter to “the Pines,” highlights the adventures and relationships of friends and lovers as they experience the magic and excitement of the landmark location.

“Fire Island” is executive produced by Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos’ Milojo Productions along with Albert Bianchini and Lenid Rolov. Pamela Post and Tim Palazzola serve as Executive Producers and Jen Passovoy serves as Producer for Logo.
