TV show description:
On October 6, 2009 everyone across the world simultaneously blacks out for a little over two minutes. During their unconsciousness, they have visions of their lives six months into the future. Some see dated material in their flash forwards its determined that the day in their vision is either April 29 or April 30, 2010.

FBI Special Agent Mark Benford (Joseph Fiennes) works for the Los Angeles Field Office and uses his October 6th vision to guide the investigation. A recovering alcoholic, he’s the husband of Olivia Benford, and the father of their little girl, Charlie (Lennon Wynn). It was the birth of his daughter that caused him to get sober. He’s well known for his dry wit but his marriage suffers because of his inner demons.

Olivia Benford (Sonya Walger) is a very strong and driven trauma surgeon who thrives on the nature of her job. She’s tough when it comes to mentoring interns like Surgical Intern Bryce Varley (Zachary Knighton), but her knowledge and compassion for her patients brings great respect from the rest of the medical staff. She has a great love for children, especially her own daughter.

Nicole Kirby (Peyton List) is a 19-year-old student and the babysitter for Charlie Benford. She was babysitting on October 6 at the time of the paranormal event, but was making out with her boyfriend. That’s part of the rebellious streak she shows, even though she’s trying to maintain her Christian values. She’s a childhood friend of Aaron Starks’ daughter, Tracy.

Special Agent Demetri Noh (John Cho) is Mark Benford’s partner. Demetri had no flash forward like the others, and fears this means that he won’t be alive when April 30th comes. Then again, he’s known for jumping to conclusions before getting all the facts. He’s engaged to a lawyer, Zoey, whom he met when she was cross-examining him for a case. She just might find out before their wedding what he’s been hiding from her.

Janice Hawk (Christine Woods) is another FBI agent working at the Los Angeles Field Office. She’s known for having great analysis abilities and also has a quick wit, but can be a bit of a tomboy. She trained at the Academy with Demetri Noh. No one can seem to figure out why this woman is still single, but in truth, she’s terrible at dating.

Stanford Wedeck (Courtney B. Vance) is the Director of the FBI’s Los Angeles Field Office. He moved from D.C. to California, but still has old contacts. Wedeck is effective at delegating, and it allows him to single-handedly get his unit to work well together. He’s married with a college-aged child, and also acts as a father figure to his younger agents.

Bryce Varley (Zachary Knighton) is a surgical intern that reports to Dr. Olivia Benford. At a major crossroads in his life, he’s on the verge of making a choice that could alter his life. He’s a passionate artist away from the hospital with significant skill in drawing. On October 6, he was on a bridge with a gun to his head, about to commit suicide, when the paranormal event happened, saving him and giving him some new hope.

Aaron Stark (Brian F. O’Byrne) is a technician for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. A recovering alcoholic, he’s the sponsor and close friend of Mark Benford. Aaron is the father of Tracy, a Marine who was killed in action while in Afghanistan. He’s also divorced and has spent time in prison. Aaron confides his secrets to Mark, including the fact that, in his vision, his son was alive.
