On October 6, 2009 everyone across the world simultaneously blacks out for a little over two minutes. During their unconsciousness, they have visions of their lives six months into the future. Some see dated material in their flash forwards its determined that the day in their vision is either April 29 or April 30, 2010. FBI Special Agent Mark Benford (Joseph Fiennes) works for the Los Angeles Field Office and uses his October 6th vision to guide the investigation. A recovering alcoholic, he’s the husband of Olivia Benford, and the father of their little girl, Charlie (Lennon Wynn). It was the birth of his daughter that caused him to get sober. He’s well known for his dry wit but his marriage suffers because of his inner demons.
