Never underestimate PTA moms. Deadline reports FX is developing a new TV series called Flatlands.
From Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini, the drama “is set in a multi-ethnic, old-school corner of Brooklyn where a bored PTA mom reinvents herself as a local political kingpin who will do anything — including dismantling her family — to attain power.” Previously, the pair wrote the Oscar-nominated film American Splendor.
Berman and Pulcini will executive produce the project alongside Anthony Bregman and Jeff Stern.
