ABC is getting fluffy. Deadline reports the network has picked up a pilot for The Fluffy Shop from comedian Gabriel Iglesias.
The Fluffy Shop is one of several new pilots recently picked up by ABC. Others include the dramas The Death of Eva Sofia Valdez and Time After Time.
Inspired by Iglesias’ real life, The Fluffy Shop will star the comedian as a stepfather trying to deal with “his home life during the few days he spends off the road each week.” Iglesias penned the script with Tim Doyle and Jay Lavender. Doyle will act as showrunner for the comedy.
