Dennis Quaid is headed to Fortitude. Deadline reports the actor has been cast in season two of the Pivot drama.
Fortitude was renewed for a second season in April.
Created by Simon Donald, Fortitude follows the inhabitants of a small Arctic town that unravels after a mysterious death occurs. The series stars Stanley Tucci, Michael Gambon, and Richard Dormer.
It’s unclear who Quaid will be playing, but he is one of several new cast members that include Parminder Nagra and Robert Sheehan. Season two is currently shooting and will feature a new murder that will send “Fortitude into turmoil while nature grows even more unpredictable, deadly and dangerous.”
