Comedy isn’t black or white at FOX. According to Deadline, the network has ordered an inter-racial family comedy pilot.
The series comes from Sin City Saints co-creator Chris Case.
The untitled half-hour comedy will center on “Jay “Havoc” Hammond, an African American ex-NFL lineman who recently moved in with his white wife and her two oddball sons, as he struggles to win the most challenging game of his life: fatherhood.” The pilot is reportedly based on Case’s real life growing up with an ex-football player stepdad.
