Is Frasier coming back after all? Deadline reports there are six ideas in consideration for a revival of the NBC TV show.
A spinoff of Cheers, the hit sitcom followed Dr. Frasier Crane (Kelsey Grammer) as he settles in his hometown of Seattle with his father and younger brother, Niles (David Hyde Pierce). The cast also included Jane Leeves, Peri Gilpin, John Mahoney, Moose, Enzo the Dog, Dan Butler, Tom McGowan, and Edward Hibbert. The series ran on NBC for 11 seasons before ending in 2004.
During a recent television appearance, Grammer revealed there are currently six ideas for a Frasier revival series. He further spilled the beans, saying the sequel series will see the title character in a new city leading a new life:
That little folder is filled with six different ideas that are all in contention for what may be the new Frasier. A continuation of Frasier. They’re similar, it’s a new life, in a new city.”
