There’s a lot of data that Freeform execs look at when deciding whether to renew or cancel a TV series but ratings are a major factor. Here’s an updated listing of all of their recent/current primetime scripted shows.

A couple of notes about these charts:
These figures are updated automatically as new ratings are released (usually a day or so after the broadcasts). The averages are based on the final national numbers (live plus same day viewing). For technical reasons, I have to resort them manually so feel free to let me know if I missed something.
The demo numbers, which are typically most important to the broadcast networks, aren’t quite as vital to cable channels because their audiences are usually much smaller. Demo numbers are typically reported using the 10ths decimal place (2.4, for example). In the averages, I’m using an extra decimal for easier ranking.

I only watch Freeform for reruns of The Miiddle and Last Man Standing-I’ve never seen a network with more ads promoting their own shows. I hate them before they ever air.
I’m confused at their renewal process, how does Alone Together get renewed, ubt Baby Daddy and Young & Hungry that have twice the audience and demo get cancelled.
Why the disclaimers before and after the 700 club? Do you not want that show on your channel?

I love young and hungry. You have to bring it back. We need to know how it all will go with Gabi and Josh. This is a great show !!!

Is there a way for you to tell when people watch from the app? I use the app all the time to watch the show the day after it is aired .I can’t always watch it on TV while its being aired . ad a matter of fact I do that with alnof my shows and I know there are so many more people who do the same thing . not everyone can be on their couch at the time it airs every week.
I am so upset that a few of the only shows I watch got cancelled. I watched baby daddy until the 6th season but it seemed like a nice end but I would have liked to see how Ben and L turned out. Also how Riley’s baby grew up. Chasing life came out when I was diagnosed with leukemia so it was nice to watch but it didn’t even go far enough. These days rating are worthless to networks. At times they care about other factors then the amount of people watching. Waht is wrong is right these days.
