Get your cooking supplies ready. The Wrap reports Twitch is currently streaming a marathon of the famous Julia Child cooking show, The French Chef.
Child produced and hosted the cooking show between 1963 and 1973.
An Amazon site, Twitch normally airs live streams of video game play. However, the site has turned to older shows for content before. In October, they aired a week-long marathon of Bob Ross’ classic PBS series, The Joy of Painting. The event was a massive success, pulling in new viewers who wouldn’t normally watch streamed video games.
With The French Chef marathon, Twitch is kicking off the launch of their new food channel, which will “integrate cooking into gaming culture or simply leverage the tools to broadcast gameplay for food content.”
The marathon will air through Friday.
