Make room for Marvin. Deadline reports Ray Wise has been promoted to series regular in the third season of the Fresh Off the Boat TV show on ABC. Wise plays Marvin, the Huang family’s next door neighbor.
Married to Jessica (Constance Wu), and business partner of Honey (Chelsey Crisp), Marvin is best buds with Louis (Randall Park). The cast also includes Hudson Yang, Forrest Wheeler, and Ian Chen.
Wise was a delight as The Devil on Reaper, which was cancelled in 2009, after two seasons on The CW. An in-demand actor, his recent TV series work includes stints on The Young and the Restless on CBS, ABC’s cancelled show, Marvel’s Agent Carter, AMC‘s Mad Med, and Adult Swim‘s Newsreaders, which was cancelled after two seasons.
