Friday Night Lights wrapped back in 2011 on NBC, and many fans would love to see it back on the air. Will they ever see a reboot of the popular series though?
No, according to Kyle Chandler, who played Coach Taylor on the popular series. While promoting season two of Bloodline for Netflix, the actor was asked about the chances of a reboot of Friday Night Lights. He said the following, according to TV Line:
“That’d be a tough one. Everyone’s a little too old now anyway.”
Fans of the series will have a chance to see the cast reunite though. An event for the series is being held at the ATX Festival next month.
