Fuller House will premiere its first season on Netflix next month without Michelle Tanner. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen decided to not appear on the new revival of Full House.
Jeff Franklin spoke about the revival during Netflix’s Winter TCA panel on Sunday, and he is hoping that one of the twins decides to appear on the series in the future. According to TV Insider, he said:
“We all tried to persuade them to come and play, but they decided not to at this time. We’re hopeful at some point in the future that they may change their minds and come back and reprise Michelle. We only need one of them. I’m sure we all had family reunions and not everyone shows up. We still love them, and the door is always open.”
During season one, fans will see an episode where someone from the family prank calls Michelle in New York City.
