Game of Silence: Showrunner Promises Shocking Season Finale

NBC’s new drama, Game of Silence, premiered Tuesday night. But already, the network and the series’ showrunner have promised a shocking season one finale, TVLine reports.

The show stars Larenz Tate, David Lyons, and Michael Raymond-James as childhood friends who share a dark secret. The series also stars Bre Blair, Conor O’Farrell, and Demetrius Grosse.

At this winter’s Television Critics Associations press tour, showrunner David Hudgins promised a satisfying and surprising end for the drama’s first season:

You get a result and you get a payoff, but it’s also an ending that people will find shocking and enjoyable… open[ing] up the world to a whole other level.”

The show’s official Twitter added that fans will be “shocked and happily surprised” by the season finale:
