Game of Thrones: Dead Character to Return in Season Six Says Ian McShane

Game of Thrones TV show on HBO: season 6

Game of Thrones is less than a month away from its return to HBO, and there was a major spoiler released by a member of the cast during a recent interview.

Many fans have speculated that Jon Snow, who died during the finale for last season, would return for season six. That speculation began after new photos from the set showed Kit Harington.

Now, a new member of the cast, Ian McShane, has revealed that someone will return from the dead during season six, but it might not be Jon Snow.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, McShane said that his “character is an ex-warrior who has become a peacenik. So I have this group of peaceful … sort of a cult, a peaceful tribe. I bring back a much loved character who everyone thinks is dead.”

Hollywood.com shared even more of his comments. He said:

“I won’t say him or her, but it is a character that is much loved who everyone thinks has died and he’s not dead. And me and my band of peace-loving brothers and sisters have nursed him back to life, and so it introduces him again.”

Now, it could be Jon Snow, but both of the news reports mention that it could be The Hound that McShane’s character brings back to life.
