Game of Thrones: Drones Spying on Season Seven Filming

There’s a new invader on Game of Thrones. According to The Wrap, drones have been spying on the set of the HBO series’ seventh season.

Earlier, it was confirmed the drama’s upcoming season will have only six episodes. The cast includes Peter Dinklage, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke, Aidan Gillen, Kit Harington, Diana Rigg, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, and Iain Glen.

Recently, Game of Thrones star Liam Cunningham told RTE’s The Works Presents that people have been using drones to secretly record spoilers for season seven of the series:

“In Spain, we were being live-streamed while we were filming, from drones. Everything we’ve done has been infiltrated, which is terrible.”

Cunningham added that the spoilers ruin the fun of the show for fans and critics alike:

I’ve seen these cynical critics go, ‘Oh my God, did you see that last week?’ and suddenly the inner child comes out in them because they’ve been outwitted, and they love it. It’s what we pay for. I like it as well, when I am reading the scripts I go, ‘Oh you’ve gotta be s—-ing me,’ and I love that.”

Season seven of Game of Thrones is set to debut on HBO on July 16th.

What do you think? Are you a fan of Game of Thrones? Are you annoyed by spoilers?
