It’s gonna be awhile before Game of Thrones returns. Today, HBO announced the eighth and final season won’t debut until 2019, Deadline reports.
The hit fantasy drama stars Kit Harington, Peter Dinklage, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner, and Maisie Williams.
Production on the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones began this past fall and now HBO says the final six episodes will premiere in 2019.
