What better way to spend the holidays than with family—the families of Westeros that is. This week, HBO announced they are airing a Game of Thrones marathon starting December 26th.
This year, the network confirmed the long-running fantasy drama will end with season eight. The series stars Peter Dinklage, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Lena Headey, Kit Harington, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, Isaac Hempstead-Wright, and Emilia Clarke.
HBO’s Game of Thrones marathon will begin with all 10 episodes of season one of December 26th. The subsequent seasons will air on the following days before the marathon ends with season six on December 31st.
The premiere date for season seven has still not been announced because production has been delayed. However, new episodes are expected to begin in summer 2017.
What do you think? Are you fan of Game of Thrones? Will you watch HBO’s post-Christmas/pre-New Year’s marathon?
