Winter is pretty much here, but what about spring, summer, and fall? HBO Programming President Casey Bloys says the premium cabler is talking to author George R.R. Martin about a possible Game of Thrones spin-off series. EW reports the talks are still in the preliminary stages.
Don’t expect any spoilers at this stage. According to the news outlet, Bloys said, “There are areas we are exploring, but I wouldn’t point to any one and say, ‘This is what we’re going to do’.”

Prequel (or sequel) aside, how many more episodes will there be? While Bloys may not know how many episodes will make up Game of Thrones’ eighth and final season, he told EW, “I’ll take as much as we can get.”
