Is Gavin & Stacey coming back? In a recent Radio Times interview, series co-creator Ruth Jones addressed a possible reboot of the popular British series, which ended in 2010.
Gavin & Stacey starred Mathew Horne and Joanna Page as two long-distance lovers. The series also starred Jones, James Corden, Melanie Walters, and Rob Brydon.
When asked if there were any plans for a Gavin & Stacey special, Jones said there “absolutely” weren’t:
I can promise you absolutely that there are no plans to make one.”
Rumors circulated about a possible comeback after the series’ other creator, Corden, reprised his Gavin & Stacey role for a charity sketch. Jones commented:
I think James was just saying he’d like to do one but then we’ve always said that. No, sorry folks, no more Gavin & Stacey planned!”
